Cabañas Caleta Gonzalo

Cosy cabins feature spectacular views of the Reñihué Fjord in the Pumalín National Park

The spirit of Cabañas Caleta Gonzalo

The Cabañas Caleta Gonzalo are located at the southern entrance of the Pumalín Nature Park, in Caleta Gonzalo, south of Puerto Montt on the Carretera Austral. Nestled amidst lush foliage, sitting high on stilts against the backdrop of the misty mountains, seven beautifully appointed wooden cabins offer an enchanting refuge amidst the rugged landscape of the park.  The charmingly rustic exteriors of the cabins effortlessly blend in with their surrounds but it’s their lavishly-furnished interiors that make them a true delight to unwind in after a successful day of explorations. Each cabin is individually decorated in typical local style, and features a lovely ensuite bathroom, loft beds for children or additional adults, and a stunning view of beautiful Reñihue Fjord.

The adjacent Caleta Gonzalo Café offers delicious homemade meals and freshly-baked bread, and a copper-hooded corner fireplace offers a warm haven in the cooler months. The property includes an attractive visitor centre and a quaint handicraft shop that stocks a selection of books, guides, and maps, as well as organic honey and jams.
