The spirit of Puerto Valle
Puerto Valle Hotel offers its guests exclusive access to the rich biodiversity of Argentina’s largest conservation area. The heart of the hotel – a singular and graceful mixture of refinement, history, nature and people— is a traditional Corrientes manor and estancia (ranch), built in 1868. Here, guests can unwind in 13 exclusive and stately rooms with views of the Parana River.
The magnificent 14 hectare park surrounding the manor house boasts an organic garden, a sparkling swimming pool and a quincho (barbeque area), which urge guests to enjoy the breathtaking outdoors. The library, with its cosy fireplace and its well-stocked bookshelves offer the perfect setting to unwind after a fun-filled day of adventures. Activities include scenic boat excursions through the wetlands and on the river; kayaking, horseback riding and the opportunity to hike along the Monkey Trail in search of howler monkeys.
What we love about Puerto Valle
- The hotel’s exclusive access to the Ibera Lagoon, where expert guides will show you all of the region’s secrets and prized attractions.
- The seasonal cuisine, that goes back to the simplicity and character of the destination, highlighting typical local ingredients such as river fish and tropical and citrus fruits, which have been part of local recipes since time immemorial.
- Interact with the estates warm and engaging gauchos as they go about their daily tasks on the working ranch.
