Embark on an incredible India tour with this 14-day journey to five of the country’s most prized destinations. Your journey begins in the vibrant city of Delhi where you will immerse yourself amongst the hustle and bustle of the historical market of Chandni Chowk and enjoy the wonderful sights of Rashtrapati Bhawan and the Qutub Minar.
The next leg of your adventure will take you to the beautiful cities of Agra, Jaipur, and Jodhpur for exceptional, interpretive tours of the Agra Fort, the world-renowned Taj Mahal, the Jaipur City Palace and the Mehrangarh Fort. You will also have the opportunity enjoy a fun-filled elephant ride at the Dera Amer retreat.
After your spectacular cultural and heritage explorations, you will make your way to India’s tiger country for excellent jungle safaris in the wilderness destinations of the Pench and Kanha National Parks. Expect luxurious safari accommodation, mouth-watering menus and twice-daily game drives, led by expertly trained naturalists.

Day 1 Delhi
On arrival at Delhi International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team who will chauffeur you to your hotel.
A mixture of bustling international metropolis, medieval chaos and regal splendour, Delhi is crammed to bursting point with tombs, temples, monuments and ruins, all of which exist side by side with modern suburbs and glass and chrome skyscrapers. In this quintessentially Indian city a surprise lies waiting around every corner – regal British architecture is combined with ancient Mughal ruins, modern suburban developments and even a touch of rural India. Reminders of long-ago empires co-exist with magnificent museums, temples and mosques, bustling bazaars and elegant shopping emporiums. European grandeur combines effortlessly with a strong Mughal legacy, as well as elements of practically every culture present in India.
Spend two nights at The Taj Mahal Hotel, situated at the heart of New Delhi. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2 Delhi
Today, you will have the opportunity to plunge deep into the beating heart of Delhi as you take a guided sightseeing tour of the Chandni Chowk. Immerse yourself in the colourful stalls and crowded alleyways of this historical market on a rickshaw ride and visit the Jama Masjid, the largest and most splendid mosque in India.
After lunch, enjoy a drive through the British colonial section of Delhi, passing landmarks such as the president’s mansion, known as Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate and the Old Secretariat. End the day with a visit to the Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret and the tomb of the Mughal emperor Humayun.
Day 3 Delhi - Agra
After a wholesome breakfast, you will be collected for your journey to Agra. On arrival in Agra, check into The Oberoi Amarvilas.
In the afternoon you will embark on an exceptional tour of the impressive red sandstone Agra Fort before enjoying the magnificence of the world-renowned white marble buildings of the Taj Mahal, at sunset.
Spend one night at The Oberoi Amarvilas in a premier room. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 4 Jaipur
Today, you will journey to Jaipur, stopping to explore the ancient abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri along the way.
On arrival in Jaipur, you will settle into your room at the Rambagh Palace, once home to royalty.
Spend two nights at the Rambagh Palace, surrounded by reminders of the region’s rich history. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 5 Amber Fort
After a scrumptious breakfast, you will embark on a guided tour of the Amber Fort, situated on a picturesque hilltop and designed in a unique architectural style. From here, you will be driven to the retreat of Dera Amer, where you will enjoy an elephant ride and a delicious traditional lunch. The afternoon will be spent exploring the Jaipur City Palace, marvelling at the ancient astronomical instruments in the Observatory Tower and admiring the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). This elegant structure was constructed to allow the ladies of the former royal harem to gaze out onto the streets of Jaipur unobserved.
Day 6 Jodhpur
Today you will be driven to Jodhpur. Situated on the eastern edge of the Thar Desert, Jodhpur is dominated by an imposing fortress that towers above the city on a sandstone ridge.
Spend two nights at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, in a Palace Room. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 7 Mehrangarh Fort
After a delicious breakfast, you will be collected for a guided tour of the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, known as the best maintained fort in Rajasthan.
Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to visit the Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble crematorium constructed for the maharajahs in the 19th century. Round off the afternoon inhaling the heady fragrances and enjoying the vibrant colours of the Spice Market.
Day 8 – 10 Baghvan Jungle Lodge
Today, you will fly to Mumbai, where you will board another flight to Nagpur. A vehicle will be waiting to drive you to Baghvan Jungle Lodge, situated on the outskirts of Pench National Park.
A spectacular natural reserve set in typical teak jungle, Pench National Park offers a quiet and secluded game viewing experience and supports a rich variety of wildlife. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the jungle on morning and afternoon game drives, in an open 4x4 safari vehicle, accompanied by a trained naturalist.
Spend three nights at Baghvan Jungle Lodge. Your stay is on a full board basis, including scheduled game drives in a shared vehicle.
Day 11 - 13 Kanha National Park
After a wholesome breakfast, you will be driven to Kanha National Park.
One of the first areas to be protected under Project Tiger, aimed at preserving this magnificent animal, Kanha is a renowned and picturesque conservation area that boasts the ideal habitat for both tigers and their prey species. Explore the sal and bamboo forests of Kanha on twice-daily game drives accompanied by an &Beyond-trained naturalist, who will point out and explain details about the fascinating animals and plants of the jungle.
Spend three nights at Banjaar Tola Tented Camp, in a luxury tent. Your stay is on a full board basis and includes scheduled shared game drives.
Enjoy a final morning drive in Kanha before being driven to Jabalpur and catching a flight back to Delhi, where your adventure with us will end.
