I am fortunate to know all of the camps and their managers personally and understand the logistics involved when travelling to remote destinations in Africa. Helping you to create the African Safari of a Lifetime is something I love doing and I promise to do my utmost to ensure that your Safari is truly memorable and entirely unique.

&Beyond has appointed me as one of their personal consultants, based on my experience of managing seven of their lodges in both South Africa and in East Africa, over the past fourteen years. I have been extremely fortunate to be entrusted with the Management of &Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, &Beyond Grumeti River Camp in the Serengeti, &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and &Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge in Zanzibar, where I have spent the last ten years with my family. In many of these lodges, I have been blessed to be a part of each project from the very beginning and being a part of building the lodge and training the Staff at each destination has been a life changing experience for me, and one I am truly grateful for.

This Blog is about my African Experience and my special time with its wonderfully warm People. My husband and I have worked together for these past 14 years and we now have a son who features in a great deal of my pictures. Matthew was fortunate to be born while we were living at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge in Tanzania and then spent the next 4 years of his life on the beach at our &Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge on the Coast of Zanzibar – a real Africa Baby! As a Family we can’t get enough of Africa and are on Safari as often as possible. These journeys have enriched our souls and have always been filled with so many special moments – moments I hope to share with all of you!
