Surprise Breakfast Guests at &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp

An elegant African bush breakfast is a truly unforgettable experience. Imagine turning the corner in your safari vehicle and coming across a beautifully laid table, comfortable chairs and a chef waiting to prepare your breakfast to perfection. Even more exciting, imagine this breakfast table overlooking a herd of playful elephants on the other side of the river? That’s exactly what happened to guests visiting &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp. They spent the morning on the banks of the Grumeti River watching a raft of hippos. Then, to their surprise, a herd of ten elephants emerged from the bushes (at a safe distance on the other side of the river) providing endless entertainment as they drank from the river and rolled in the sand.
