During my time with &Beyond (previously known as CC Africa) whilst living in South Africa, I have visited Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Seychelles, Mauritius, Uganda and Madagascar to increase my knowledge of logistics travelling through these countries.
I love what I do as its not often you work in an environment that is aligned to your passions in life, for me its all about the wild open spaces and the animals and my knowledge of this that I want to share, of course the flexibility it gives me to work my own hours has its upside too as it gives me access to respond to my guests more quickly than if I worked an 8 hour day at the office.
I live in the suburbs of Johannesburg with 3 cats (who are my children) and am very passionate about going to the bush, I have recently been given a Canon camera and bought a 400mm lens and I hope to improve my photographic skills which I will be able to share with you on my blog. It’s also a great excuse to go back to the many countries and areas I have visited before to capture it all over again in photographs.
I also love painting, reading, crafts, golf, scuba diving and gym. I lived in England for a couple of years back in 1989 and travelled to the States and Europe with a bit of time down in Australia as well.

I started working for &Beyond in April 1999 when it was still known as CC Africa, I managed a membership concept for South African residents, and in 2003 I was offered the opportunity to work from home based on my knowledge of our lodges which I gained whilst traveling over the previous 4 years.
