&Beyond’s Ultimate 20-Day Southern Africa Safari

The safari begins in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, with three exciting nights spent at the luxurious Forest Lodge at &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve. Rated best in Africa and third best in the world in the latest Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Awards, Phinda offers a life-changing safari experience. In addition to twice-daily game drives led by &Beyond -trained rangers and trackers, bush walks and boat cruises on the Mzinene River, a range of adventures can be enjoyed from specialized black rhino walks to scuba diving in the nearby Indian Ocean.  

The next three days are spent exploring the Big Five Sabi Sand Game Reserve at &Beyond Dulini Lodge. Renowned for exceptional leopard viewing, guests will be spoilt for choice on daily game drives and bush walks. Evenings include beautiful bush dinners and delicious fresh African food served by &Beyond ’s warm and friendly staff.   

A flight to Victoria Falls takes guests to the next destination where they will be welcomed by the grace of the colonial Victoria Falls Hotel. Two days will be spent here marveling at the majestic Falls and rainforests. Guests can enjoy a range of exciting adventures, such as river rafting or bungee jumping or a leisurely sundowner cruise on the river.  

The next stop is the awe-inspiring Okavango Delta in Botswana which offers a wonderful mix of water and land based safari activities. From the base of &Beyond Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge and Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge, guests will enjoy game drives, boat cruises and mekoro (dug-out canoe) trips along the Delta riverways.

From here, guests will move on to Namibia where they will be wrapped in luxury at &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. Adventures include desert drives and walks, quad biking and a trip to visit the tallest dunes in the world.

The last few days are spent at Ellerman House in cosmopolitan Cape Town where guests will be able to enjoy exquisite beaches, fine dining and lots of adventures. The tempo is theirs to choose, from climbing Table Mountain, enjoying a boat cruise to Robben Island, exploring the winelands or simply watching the sun set over the ocean whilst sipping on a daiquiri.
