7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS

Start anticipating your African adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day on safari to bring.

This safari begins and ends at Lusaka International Airport in Zambia.

Day 1 - 3: South Luangwa National Park

Fly from Lusaka International Airport to Mfuwe Airport, where you will be met and driven to your accommodation choice.

Renowned as one of Africa's greatest wildlife sanctuaries, South Luangwa National Park is home to an abundance of game, which frequents the Luangwa River and its oxbow lagoons. The Luangwa River is the most intact river system in Africa and is the lifeblood of the park's 9 050 km². South Luangwa is also the birthplace of the walking safari - one of the best ways to get up close and personal with the park's pristine wilderness, which boasts 60 different animal species and over 400 different birds. Hippo wallow in the river, while large herds of elephant, some up to 70 strong, and the mighty buffalo wander the plains.

Spend three nights at your choice of:

  • One of four exclusive and stylishly rustic huts at Luwi Bush Camp
  • One of four individually designed and incredibly romantic thatched chalets at Nsolo Bush Camp

Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, laundry, scheduled safari activities and all refreshments whilst out on game drive. Adventures include twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles and guided walking safaris.
