Start anticipating your sea and safari adventure with a short summary of what you can expect each day to bring.

Your journey begins at Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha and ends at Dar es Salaam International Airport.

Day 1: Arusha

On arrival at Kilimanjaro  International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the &Beyond team, who will drive you to your lodge.

Known as the safari capital of Tanzania and situated beneath the towering peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro, the attractive little town of Arusha is the ideal place to spend a relaxing night or two before embarking on a safari.

Spend the night in a cottage at Legendary Coffee Lodge.

Day 2 - 4: Serengeti National Park

This morning you will be driven to Arusha Airport for a flight to Sasakwa Airstrip, where a member of our team will be waiting.

Meaning endless plains in the language of the Masai, the Serengeti National Park is one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas. Tanzania's oldest game reserve, it is renowned as the site of the annual Great Migration, involving an estimated three million antelope, mostly wildebeest.

Enjoy three nights in a cottage at Sasakwa Lodge.

Day 5 - 6: Ngorongtoro Crater

You will be driven back to Sasakwa Airstrip, from where another light aircraft flight will take you to Manyara Airstrip. A member of our team will be waiting to drive you to Ngorongoro Crater.

Once a gigantic volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth, including resident wildebeest, highly endangered black rhino and lion. Cheetah move in and out of the Crater, while leopard are most often encountered in the spectacular Lerai Forest.

Spend two nights in a suite at &Beyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Day 7 - 9: &Beyond Mnemba Island Lodge

Return to the airstrip for a flight to Zanzibar Airport, from where you will be driven to the crossing point where you will board a boat to &Beyond Mnemba Island.

Situated off the northeastern tip of Zanzibar, &Beyond Mnemba Island is surrounded by an atoll of breathtaking coral reefs and boasts some of Africa's most magnificent dive sites. The calm, azure seas offer irresistible snorkelling, scuba diving and fishing, as well as a selection of water sports.
