Surprise Bush Pancakes at Madikwe Safari Lodge

Towards the end of a great morning safari drive at Madikwe Game Reserve with the Taylor family our guide, Brett, turned to us with a mischievous grin and said that just around the corner was a surprise. Toby, Matilda and Lucys’ interest suddenly picked up as they saw a splash of colour in the bushes ahead. As we rounded the corner there was the most awesome surprise in the form of bush pancakes.

 The best part of the pancakes was the wide range of toppings that went with them. From jelly tots to hot chocolate sauce it was all there. Needless to say it was a complete hit, especially with Brett and myself.
