Growing up in Cape Town, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel quite extensively in Africa with my family which I believe was when I chose to make my passion my way of life. I have since worked in South Africa (for Cape Town and Johannesburg based tour operators), Tanzania (on Mafia Island for a lodge on the island), and Zambia (in Lusaka for a lodge on the Lower Zambezi), getting to know all aspects of travel in Africa from working for tour operators to working in the field for the lodges. These experiences lead me to the &Beyond head office in Johannesburg where I managed a team of reservations consultants and gained valuable knowledge of the logistics involved in getting our guests safely around Africa. I then moved to Botswana which is when I started working from home as a Travel Planner for &Beyond drawing much inspiration from the bush and wildlife around me.

Working in different African countries has also allowed me the opportunity to intimately know and understand the land, seasons, wildlife and cultures of these countries. Now, back in Cape Town, surrounded by the mountains and sea, I am doing what I love to do most, tailor-making dream journeys and unforgettable memories in Africa for you.
