The Great Divide
Mother Nature is forever unpredictable and this has caused yet another splitting of the migratory herds. The mega herd is now grazing the Musabi Plains in the Western Corridor, a mere one-hour drive from &Beyond Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp and
even less from &Beyond’s two semi-permanent Serengeti Under Canvas camps.
Another massive herd of approximately 100 000 hungry herbivores has split off in a
north-easterly direction towards the Togoro Plains and even further north to Lobo and &Beyond Klein’s Camp.
&Beyond guests from all four properties are now witnessing the Great Migration on a daily basis, taking home bucket list memories to last a lifetime.
Our rangers anticipate the world-famous, nail-biting Grumeti River crossings to commence in a week or two. Watch this space as the drama unfolds!
