The massive herds of East Africa's Great Migration are starting to make their way northeast towards Gol Mountain, although there are still some wildebeest grazing the southern Ndutu plains.
&Beyond's two semi-permanent Serengeti Under Canvas Camps are currently positioned at Ndutu and will move up to Seronera in the central Serengeti in the next couple of weeks.
Over the past two months the herds have dropped their young and the game viewing
has been extraordinary. Yesterday guests witnessed a cheetah taking down a young Thomson's gazelle and they were also fortunate to spend some time watching a female cheetah with her small cubs. It's a great time to be in the Serengeti!
